Boondocks is a whiskey out of Bardstown, Kentucky with a high-corn mash bill. While the ingredients are similar to bourbon, it is referred to as "American Whiskey" since it is aged in American oak which previously held whiskey rather than new charred oak as is required for bourbon. This version is bottled from the cask at 127 proof.
