Manager - Full-Time

Job description:

At Sal’s Beverage World, we offer wines, spirits, beers, cigars, and more at competitive prices, and we have a great staff to help our customers with their purchases. We are looking to grow our wine staff. So if you have knowledge about wines, we would like to speak with you!

Your responsibilities would include assisting customers with any questions they have while also growing your own knowledge about our in-store products. You will keep the wine department organized as well as stock and arrange the products. You may also to help in other parts of the store.

In order to be qualified for this job, you need to be at least 21 years old and have a good understanding of the types of wine, their countries and regions. You must also be able to lift at least 40 lbs. and work on a flexible schedule, which includes on weekends and holidays. It would also be helpful, but not necessary, if you have past retail or wine experience.

Stock Person - Full & Part Time

Job Description:

To provide outstanding customer service, maintain productivity and assist in developing sales. Work as a team and follow the direction of the managers and/or supervisors to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Follow proper age verification process (training provided).
• Provide amazing service to customers and assist as needed.
• Stock, build displays and perform porter duties as required.
• Develop knowledge of product to better assist customers.
• Follow Employee Handbook, safety precautions and injury prevention.
• Perform cash register duties (as needed) and neatly maintain the check-out, shopping cart and box storage areas.
• Follow shipping and receiving duties (as needed).

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays imperative to this industry.                 
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effectively communicate with customers, fellow employees and Store Management.
• Ability to pass and maintain current certification of any alcohol training course.
• Able to follow directions and complete work assignments.
• Walk up and down stairs  and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Work in cold areas.
• Work hours as scheduled.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Cashier - Full & Part-Time

Must be 21 years of age.  Must complete a course in B.A.S.S.E.T. training. Help the customer check out in a timely but efficient matter. Assist with any last minute needs, Like barrels, cases, wine club memberships, etc. Answer and direct phone calls. Keep the front area clean and organized. Nights, weekends and holidays imperative to this industry. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, possess excellent customer service skills and is able to handle money.
